Sathya Sadhana Foundation was established in 2002 by like-minded professionals to help the needy and weaker section in the society. The founders being predominantly from the medical profession, started organizing medical camps and clinics free of cost in both urban and rural area. As time progressed need for specialized care for the elderly (Geriatric Medicine) was realized. Sathya Sadhana Foundation aims to provide complete range of Geriatric services for the elderly

Present Geriatric health programs of SSF include:

• Geriatric Out Patient Services
• Geriatric Free Medical Camps in the community
• Monthly activities at Vijaya Health Care for the elderly
  • Monthly Osteoporosis detection Camps
  • Adult Immunization at subsidized rates
  • Laboratory test at concessional rates
• Extension Education programs for dissimenation of information on issues faced by the elderly

Planned activities over next 2 years by VIJAYA ELDERS HEALTH CARE CENTER are:

• A Comfort Home for the elderly
• Assisted Living Center
• Elders Day Care Centers in the city
• A Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center for the elderly
• A Hospice Care Center
• A full-fledged Geriatric Hospital and Research center

All services constitute a comprehensive and holistic geriatric care in an Empathetic Environment to the elderly from all strata of the society and working with synergies of the society, caregivers and Inmates.

The Leadership team of the SSF oversees and approves the decisions of the Foundation. This group is comprised of senior medical professionals and retired professionals from various walks of life who dedicate their time and talents to guide the Foundation’s efforts in achieving the mission of SSF.

Outreach from the SSF to the local community and communities abroad takes many forms, generating interest in a Method of Giving such as an outright gift of cash or a planned gift that initiates a family legacy of giving. Each and every donor becomes a valuable asset to the SSF and for that we are deeply grateful.
