LABORATORY FACILITIES:
|
PRE- CLINICAL LAB/NURSING FOUNDATION LAB
Nursing foundation lab is equipped in such a way, that it meets the needed practice
for the beginners, before their clinical training.
The laboratory is equipped with a chase doll, Cardio-pulmonary resusciation mannequin
etc. In this lab the students of first year B.Sc (N) program, get familiar with
all the basic nursing procedures before they can do them in the hospital.
PRE- CLINICAL LAB/NURSING FOUNDATION LAB
This medical and surgical nursing laboratory is provided with needed collection
of equipment which helps to train the student better. The expert faculties demonstrate
all the procedures in this lab.

COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING LABORATORY
The Community Health Nursing Laboratory helps the students to practice the skills
and techniques for family health care and public health activities. This lab is
unique as it provides all the equipment needed for home care in community. The AV
aids what we have and those made by the students are important aid for dissemination
of information in Education and communication activities on health topics in the
community.

MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH NURSING LABORATORIES
Maternal and Child Health Nursing Lab facilitate the students to practice antenatal,
intranatal and post natal care before they go to the clinical setting. A mannequin
to practice abdominal examination and delivery, episiotomy, suture stimulator, new
born doll, instruments for different obstetric and gynaecologic procedures make
it an apt place to learn Maternity Nursing and Child Health Nursing.

NUTRITION LABORATORY
Nutrition Laboratory is provided with all equipment needed for food preparation
and serving. Here the students prepare different recipies under the guidance of
faculty. On the basis of different disease conditions feed requirement and nutritive
value student demonstrate and exhibit various recipies. The Laboratory is also equipped
with facilities for cooling storage and preservation of food.

ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY LAB
Anatomy & Physiology lab is provided with different samples and specimens to make
the study of the subject easier and quicker.

MICROBIOLOGY & BIOCHEMISTRY LAB
This lab provides students to get acquaint with microscope, centrifuging machine,
different type of staining substances.

COMPUTER LAB
The computer lab is equipped with an adequate number of computers with internet
facility to train the students in basic computer applications. The students are
trained by expert computer professionals.

GENERAL FACILITIES :

CLASSROOM
Classrooms are spacious to accommodate the student of each batch in the full strength.
Each classroom is provided with needed furniture and AV aids such as LCD projector,
OHP, Flip charts, chalk boards etc. The seating arrangements are made comfortable
for the students so as to facilitate academic work.

LIBRARY
The institute has an extensive library with comprehensive collection of literature
on all subjects to meet with the latest information needs. Library timing from 9
AM to 9 PM. We have a numbering system so that each student has an easy access to
needed material. We have ‘E’ access facility, so that the student can have easy
access to journals online.

HOSTEL ROOMS
The hostel facilities that we are providing for the students are exceptional. We
provided hostel facilities separate for the Girls and Boys. The girl hostel is within
the campus only. The hostel room with adequate space, ventilation, attached bathroom
with 24 hours water supply and full time power supply. Adding to this the surrounding
greenery creates a pleasant and homely environment for the student to spend their
time during their free hours. Both hostels are supervised by the expert wardens
who are available for the student throughout the day.

HOSTEL MESS AND CANTEEN
Student friendly mess of our college meets all the nutritional requirements of the
students. The meals we provide include different South Indian dishes and occasional
North Indian dishes to satisfy the needs of the students. The mess hall provide
homely atmosphere and it is very spacious and properly ventilated. The constant
effort of cook and workers help in the hygiene food preparation and serving and
maintenance of mess hall in a standardized manner. We have a well established canteen
facility in the college campus to meet the additional requirements of the students.

PRAYER & MEDITATION HALL
We feel the spiritual health is important for the student to concentrate in their
studies. For that we have provided prayer and meditation hall. Students use this
facility on a timely basis to meet their spiritual needs.

TRANSPORT
The institute has busses plying around the city, picking up the students and staff
to college. On time to various destinations like Hospitals, Clinics and for attending
Conference Seminars, Workshop, Meetings etc.
